Obedience Unto Righteousness

That I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, where some think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. (2 Corinthians 10)

Do you look on the outward appearance? If any think to himself that he is Christ's, let him think again, that as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's. Though I boast more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction. (2 Corinthians 10) Yield yourselves unto God, as instruments of righteousness. For sin shall not have dominion over you. You are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. (Romans 6)

Being made free from sin, you became the servants of righteousness. As you have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness (Romans 6)--the righteousness which is of faith. (Romans 10) Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily beset us, and run with patience the race that is set before us; looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest you be wearied and faint in your minds--having not yet resisted unto blood. (Hebrews 12)

With the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.(Romans 10)

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
