There Is No Power But God's Power

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resist the power, resist the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.(Romans 13)

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same. (Romans 13) And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve. (Joshua 24)

For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he bear not the sword in vain (Romans 13): the sword which is the Word of God. The Word which is more powerful and sharper than a two-edged sword cutting through to the bone and marrow, a discerner of thoughts and intent of the heart (Hebrews 4)--for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. (Romans 13)

Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. (Romans 13); casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. (2 Corinthians 10)

For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom is due, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor. (Romans 13) Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. (Mark 12) Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. (Romans 13).

For ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6)

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
