Lord Jesus we bless you. We give you the highest praise. You alone are God. You have set us apart and made us a peculiar people (1 Peter 2:9). Lord Jesus we come this day, asking you to use us in any way you want to use us. Lord Jesus we pray that your divine will, plan, and purpose will unfold, evolve, and transform lives. Use us to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Use us to tell a dying world that they need to be saved. Use us to spread the good news, that Jesus died for sinners, that Jesus' death burial and resurrection give life to all those who believe.
Have your way today Lord. We put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6), that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Our feet are shed with the preparation of the gospel. We have our sword which is the Word of God, the helmet of salvation, and the shield of faith. We stand ready to witness for you at every opportunity. No weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises up against us in judgement you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17); and we know that all things work together for good to them who love you (Romans 8:28).
