The devil wants to make his lie your truth. Do not take the bait. Be grounded and rooted in the Word of God. You're going about minding your own business when it seems as though, suddenly, you are caught up in a scenario that makes you uncomfortable. You were just minding your own business, enjoying life while you worked hard to do the right thing--working hard, loving everybody, working a job, perhaps going to school or both. Dark forces working through others began to distort the picture, flip the script, make the truth a lie. Think. What exactly is going on here? Why do I feel as though I am being sucked into this deep, dark vortex? You know why? Because Satan is lonely, living a life without purpose and void. The devil thinks that it can gain satisfaction by disrupting the lives of others, gradually, so that it goes unnoticed, using tactics such as friendliness and helpfulness to throw you off. (Pray for a Spirit of discernment, and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.) Do not be hateful and unfriendly as a result. Do not be paranoid; everyone is not out to get you. You shall know the tree by it's fruits.
As a believer you have to be true to yourself, true to your goals, true to the purpose and will of God for your life -- while you wrestle with dark forces that subtly try to drag you down. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Lean not to your own understanding but in every way, acknowledge the Lord and He will direct your path.
Let your conversation always be seasoned with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is nothing more important than the message of Jesus Christ -- not your goals, not your truth, but God's truth, found in His Word.
If you believe in Jesus
but have not given your life to Christ, accept Him into your heart today.
Christ Jesus, please come into my heart. Lord Jesus become my personal
Lord and Savior.

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
