It's About You

It's always about you. Do not concern yourself in other peoples business. Do not care about what other people do, or what other people think. It's about you. It's about what you think. It's about what you do. Is your heart right with both man and God? Are you judging others? Do you have a critical spirit or spirit of condemnation? Is the first thought that comes into your mind something negative about another person? Why are we so quick to judge others in a negative light or to put them in the little box we want them to fit in, or to stereotype?  Well this group of people are generally like this or that.  Or, this person looks like this or that so they must be this or that. Or this person hangs out with the publicans and the sinners so they must be one too. The disciples were offended when they saw Jesus eating with the publicans and sinners; and to top it off Jesus hung on a cross between two thieves and told the one that He would be with Him in paradise.

While you're busy judging others, you could be doing something way more important with your life, but I digress. Satan's army is recruiting -- are you up for that or are you already an enlistee?

You'd better make sure what is in your mind and in your heart is right with God.  We were all born in sin and shaped in iniquity.  As you judge others you are being judged.  We are saved through grace, and not of ourselves--it is a gift of God. Unmerited favor.  Examine yourself to see what spirit you possess.  What's going on in the inside of you?  Are you clean on the outside and like a ravaging wolf on the inside? Are you serving God with your lips, while your heart is far from Him?  Jesus said that if we humble ourselves and pray, turn from our wicked ways, He would answer from Heaven and heal the land; heal our hearts, and heal our minds.

It's about you.

If you believe in Jesus but have not given your life to Christ, accept Him into your heart today.  Christ Jesus, please come into my heart.  Lord Jesus become my personal Lord and Savior.

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
