Victory

If God has given you insight into the spiritual realm He has given you the victory in the natural realm. God has shown you the devil's plan, tactic, and strategy, and has given you power to tread on serpents and to cast out demons in the spiritual realm where the devil operates through others, forces of darkness and things. You have to subdue the flesh. You have to bring your flesh under subjection to the Word of God. God has taken away any power and authority from you that you thought you had over your enemies and have taken the battle on directly in your place.

There is nothing that God cannot do and won't do on your behalf if you would move out of the way. You're in God's way. He used you to get a clear view of your enemy. When the enemy attacks you, God attacks the enemy--His way and on His timing. Satan has no power but what the Lord allows, for the purpose of keeping a child of God in line with God's Word. When you are in line with God's Word no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Tell the devil thank you for your many attempts to destroy me. They are God's tools to identify you and to allow me to live a victorious life. God's ways are past finding out. God took the foolish things of this world to confound the wise (1 Corinthians 1:27). Didn't God use the deeds of evil men, and those who appeared clean on the outside while dirty on the inside--hypocrites-to destroy Jesus--so that Jesus could rise from the dead, so that we could live victorious lives in the midst of turmoil.

You have to believe more than just on the name of Jesus to obtain the victory. You must be born again. Although God is not sado-masochistic and He will not allow someone to suffer just for the sake of suffering. God knows how much each and every one of us can bear. God knows exactly what it takes to make you cry out, Save me Jesus! I want to be saved! Jesus said if they are not against us then they are with us. You must be born again. You must accept Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Your personal attacks, battles and discomfort are to build you up in the faith. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.

Like walking around the wall of Jericho seven times (Joshua 6:15)and then shouting and the wall falls down. Like Noah building the ark (Genesis 6:14) for his family and the animals that God told him to take, because God was going to cover the earth with water for forty days and forty nights. Like Abraham taking Isaak his only son to burn as a sacrifice (Genesis 22:2) to God as He commanded and then God provides a sacrificial lamb caught in a bush nearby.

We are God's sacrifice that others may be saved. Make your life a holy sacrifice unto God, which is your reasonable service (Romans 12). Jesus said that whosoever shall lose their life (Matthew 16:25) for His sake shall find it, and whosoever shall keep their life shall lose it. Take up your cross and follow Jesus--daily.
