There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifies. (Romans 8)
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? We are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come; nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8)
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not, therefore, ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.
