All Power Is Given Unto Me

In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow. The angel said to the women, Fear not. I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here. He is risen, just as He said.

Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. And they departed quickly from the sepulcher with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word. And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail!

This resurrection was so huge and had the potential to not be believed by the human mind, that the soldiers were paid large sums of money to tell a lie.  The magistrates, the politicians, and the good, self righteous people who hated Jesus said to tell people that His body was stolen by His disciples.

So they took the money, and did as they were told.

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee--no more twelve--because Judas killed himself; went into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. When they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,  All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations.  The harvest is plenteous but the laborers are few. I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
