The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways and nothing by any means shall harm you (Deuteronomy 28:7). Obedience to God's Word is better than sacrifice (1 Samuel 15:22). In this world you shall have tribulation (John 16:33). Do not be dismayed for I have already told you so; but be of good cheer for if they hate you remember that they hated me first (John 15:18).
Do not be friends with the world. To be friends with the world is to be an enemy of God (James 4:4). Trust in the Lord and do good. Many are the afflictions of the righteous and the Lord delivers them out of them all (Psalm 34:19). If you were one of them they would love you (John 15:19), but I have called you unto myself. If they hate you, it is because they hated me first. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived (2 Timothy 3:13).
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of unrighteousness. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth (Ephesians 2).
And we know that all things work together for good to them who love God; the Called, according to God's purpose (Romans 8:28). Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Matthew 7:14).

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
