Elevation

O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged. Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels. Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? (2 Corinthians)

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing (2 Corinthians).

Now you know the Word. You have used the Word. You have applied God's Word. Now it is time to sharpen your skills. It is time to be elevated in the knowledge, truth and wisdom of God's Word. Let God's Word work in you and on you. Now it is time to sharpen your weapon which is the Word of God. Now God is going to reveal His Word through you. The only requirement is that you live separate from the world, touch not the unclean thing. Be obedient to God's Word. Sustained and protracted spiritual warfare is when the Lord begins to teach you to mortify the deeds of the flesh--to bring your flesh under subjection to God's Word and, then, to rest. Know that it is God's Word at work--not anything that you do, lest any man think more highly of themselves than they ought to. You have no power. You have authority, wisdom and knowledge of the most powerful weapon in existence--God's Word.

God has given you the authority to cast out demons and to tread on serpents. When the Lord takes you to a higher revelation knowledge--sharpens your skills--you don't have to do anything but be in relationship with Him. Jesus is the Word. God is the Word--the man Jesus--who walked this earth as a human being; was ridiculed, spat on, humiliated, hung on a cross, died, was buried and rose from the dead having all power in His hands. He is the Word. The Word is sharper and more powerful than any two-edged sword. Elevating your skills in the Word of God is "being"; because you already "know".
