Your Sleep Shall be Sweet

Praise Jesus! The Lord is at my right hand that I shall not be moved (Psalm 16:8). Joshua told the sun to stay, and the moon not to move. Never before had God moved at the direction of man. But God held the sun and the moon in place (Joshua 10:13).

God's Word is excellent and His ways are past finding out (Romans 11:33). He is a mighty battle axe (Jeremiah 51:20) and a mighty fortress (2 Samuel 22:2; Psalm 31:3; Psalm 18:2; Psalm 71:3). Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God who will justify (Romans 8:33). When I think about the goodness of Jesus and all He has done for me, my soul cries out hallelujah! Thank you Lord for saving me.

Obedience is better than sacrifices of praise (Psalm 50; 1 Samuel 15:22). The rocks are going to cry out (Luke 19:40). Every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! (Philippians 2:10-11; Romans 14:11). This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24)

Stand still and watch God do wonderful and mighty things on behalf of those who obey and trust in His Word. Always have a pure heart. And those times, when after being steeped in an evil and hateful environment, day in and day out; twenty-four-seven-three-sixty-five--be frank with God. The Lord knows the battle of Armageddon He has put you in. Don't hate. Keep the fulfillment of the commandment to love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:30-31; Matthew 22:39) and to owe no man anything but to love them (Romans 13:8). Be separated. Come from among them (2 Corinthians 6:17). Give no place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27), but to God, who has placed you, lovingly, in this situation for His purpose--has dominion.

And, if we confess our sins God is faithful and just to forgive us (1 John 1:9). Thank the Lord for removing the rust and chipping away chunks of "self" from our lives. When we confess our disdain and displeasure we feel God's forgiveness. Hate is anathema to a child of God. We don't wear hate, jealousy and dislike very well. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4), and we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, them who are "the Called", according to God's purpose (Romans 8:28)

Give thanks to the Lord, who always gives you the victory in Christ Jesus (1 Corinthians 15:57; 2 Corinthians 2:14) for He is doing great and wonderful things. Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him (Job 13:15). We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against evil and spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). The race will not be won to the strong nor to the swift but to them who endure unto the end, the same shall be saved (Ecclesiastes 9:11; Matthew 24:13). They that wait upon the Lord, He shall renew their strength. They shall mount up on wings as eagles run and not be weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
