Those are the words to an old spiritual.
This morning when I rose up, I didn't have no doubt. This morning when I got out of my bed, I didn't have no doubt. I know the Lord, He would protect me. I know the Lord, He would provide for me. I know the Lord, He would guide me all the way.
Those are words to an old spiritual as well. And then there are many new and fresh songs that evolved with the times, such as "the battle, it's not yours, it's the Lord's". It's the Lord's. Yes, it's the Lord's. Hold your head high; it's the Lord's. Yes, it's the Lord's.
How about "take me back". Take me back dear Lord, to the place, where I first received You. Take me back. Take me back dear Lord when I first believed. I feel that I'm so far from you Lord. But still, I hear You calling me. Those simple things that I once knew, are haunting me. I must confess, Lord I've been blessed. But still my soul is not satisfied. Renew my faith, restore my joy, and dry my weeping eyes. Oh Lord, take me back.
I know, my redeemer lives. I know, my redeemer lives. I am a friend of God. I am a friend of God. I am a friend of God, He calls me friend. Victory belongs to Jesus. Victory belongs to Him.
The Lord is awesome. There are many songs that the Lord may put on your mind to make you happy for the spur of the moment. Praise the Lord! Thank Him!
….because the devil would like nothing more than to fill your head with junk. Junk that comes from out of nowhere. What's this trying to creep into my head? It's not my thought. I rebuke you devil in the name of Jesus!
Isn't God good! Yes He is! At the cross, at the cross, where I first saw the light, and the burdens of my heart rolled away. It was there by faith, I received my sight, and now I am happy all the day.
I will trust in the Lord, I will trust in the Lord. I will trust in the Lord, till I die. I will trust in the Lord, I will trust in the Lord, I will trust in the Lord, till I die. Father, I stretch my hand to thee. No other hand I know. If thou would take thy hand from me, whither shall I go? I will trust in the Lord.
What's on your mind?
What's on your mind?

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
