Stay Ready

Sharpen your double-edged sword which is the knowledge of the Word of God. Put your helmet of salvation on straight--walk worthy of your calling in Christ Jesus--be the salt of the earth that God has called you to be.  Gird yourself--stay ready--stay focused. Polish up your shield of faith--pray for a discerning spirit. Have your feet shed with the preparation of the gospel--be ready to say what the Word says. This is a spiritual battle that the Lord has put you in. Walk on by faith, looking unto Jesus who is the author and finisher of your faith.

I tell you the truth and lie not--God is working all things together for good to them who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. Just be grateful that the Lord chose you to suffer for the sake of the Gospel. Otherwise you would be empty, hateful, and jealous like your enemies. I wonder how does it feel to be so full of hate. We are to show compassion for those who are bound by darkness and pray that they be set free. Really? Yes. We are to pray for our enemies and those who despitefully use us.

Stand still and see your salvation in the Lord.
