We serve a wise and mighty God who is operating and controlling all things according to His purpose, divine will, and pleasure. A day is as a thousand years to God and a thousand years as a day. (2 Peter 3:7-8)
Keep your hope on things eternal. If our hope is only in this world, then we are like all men, most miserable. 1 Corinthians 15:19. Don't build up for yourselves treasures that moth and rust doth corrupt but build up those things that are eternal.
Many reject the gospel because they feel as though they cannot have material possessions or accumulate wealth. Not true. It is harder for a rich man to get into heaven than for a camel to get through the eye of a needle. (Matthew 19:24-25) But with God all things are possible. The bible instructs us to work by the sweat of our brow. To whom much is given much is required. Think.
When a person's life is systematically destroyed, their personal well being attacked; subjugated, denigrated, exploited, and diminished on a daily basis -- who is the person who loves material things and wealth more? Those who kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10) or the individual whose life is being destroyed because they are focused, working hard and accomplishing goals, while trying to do the right thing?
If you believe in Jesus
but have not given your life to Christ, accept Him into your heart today.
Christ Jesus, please come into my heart. Lord Jesus become my personal
Lord and Savior.

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
