Don't allow a negative spirit to attach itself to you. You are who God says you are. God made you in His image. (There are dark, evil, deceptive thoughts and actions from others who want so badly for you to fit into their mode (also called transference); to be what is in their head, to fit into their way of thinking, to be what they say and think you are.) You may not be all that God would have you to be, but you're working on it. You refuse to go backwards. You're pressing forward, forgetting those things that are behind, pressing towards the mark to win the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14) You have yielded to God's Word and are free, going about sharing the Gospel, encouraging others to be the best that they can be, or simply minding your own business--not looking to the right or to the left, but looking straight ahead--refusing to participate in a scheme that is deleterious to another person's life. Negative, evil, dark spirits are against any and all things righteous and good. Negative, deceitful spirits attempt to transfer their thoughts and desires onto you -- wanting you to be like them -- and hating you if you are not. Come out from among them and be separated from the world. (2 Corinthians 6:17)
Bring your flesh under subjection to the Word of God. Humble yourself. Step aside. God's got this.
Owe no man anything but to love them. You are who and what God says that you are. Don't accept negative thoughts from others about yourself. Don't judge others by anyone's standards but God. In fact, the Bible tells us not to judge at all. As we judge others we are judged. (Matthew 7:2)
Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Don't allow a deceptive, evil, self-hating, spirit of defeat slip into your mindset. Resist. Plead the blood of Jesus. Stand on God's Word. Pray in the name of Jesus. The Lord will not let you down. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers us out of them all. (Psalm 34:19.) In the world we shall have tribulation. Do not be surprised when fiery trials come up against you because Jesus has forewarned us in His Word. Be of good cheer; (John 16:33) Jesus has overcome the world, Hell, death, and the grave. You are more than a conqueror. (Romans 8:37) You are an overcomer. If God be for you, He is more than the whole world against you. (Romans 8:31-39) Trust Him.

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
