Be Filled With the Holy Ghost

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness!

And they conferred among themselves, saying, What shall we do to these men? for a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all the people and we cannot deny it. Let's threaten them, that they speak no more in the name of Jesus.

Hey you! be healed! be delivered! be set free in Jesus' name! Be filled with the Holy Ghost! (Ephesians 5)  Do exploits (Daniel 11)!  Run through troops and jump over walls (Psalm 18), in Jesus name!

And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God you be the judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

So when the high priests, the sadducees and the supreme council had further threatened Peter and John, they let them go, finding no reason they could punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which they had done.

Praise the Lord! They tried to set it off up in here!  I gotta praise and I gotta get it out!

Get your breakthrough! Be filled with the Holy Ghost!

Such as Should Be Saved

Men and brethren, let me freely speak to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us to this day.

Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; David seeing this before it happened spoke of the resurrection of Christ. This Jesus has God raised from the dead. Whereof we who are born again are witnesses.

Watch this.....David is not ascended into the heavens: but he speaketh of himself, "The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Until I make thy enemies thy footstool." God has made that same Jesus, who was crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Now when those who had worked to destroy Jesus heard this, they were pricked in their heart and said, "what shall we do?"  Peter said, "repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Thy Word is Truth

Halleluiah to the name of Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! The devil trembles just at Jesus' name (James 2). Hence, the war that is waged in the born again believer's life. It is spiritual! Spiritual warfare! Keep your sword drawn! Your sword which is the word of God; sharper and more powerful than any two-edged sword, a discerner of thoughts and intent of the heart, cutting through to the bone and marrow! (Hebrews 4) Victory is always in Jesus! in His name, in His Word! The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, evil and spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6)

But be of good cheer; many are the afflictions of the righteous (Psalm 34) and the Lord delivers us out of them all! Do not think it strange (1 Peter 4) when these things come upon us because Jesus already told us that in the world we would have tribulation. Jesus is the Word that became flesh, and the Word dwelt among us. (John 1).

Jesus said, "I have given them thy Word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world." Sanctify them through thy truth: thy Word is truth." (John 17)

Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior!

I AM Glorified In Them

Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee: You have given Me power over all flesh, that I should give eternal life to as many as You have given Me. You, we, me and I, cannot come to the Father unless He draws us. You must be called and chosen of God. It is He that has made us and not we ourselves. Before the foundation of the world was laid God knew us. (Ephesians 1) Before we were formed in our mother's womb (Jeremiah 1; Psalm 139) God, appointed, anointed us, called us and chose us that He may get the glory out of our lives. Those God, foreknew, He also predestinated. When John was on the Isle of Patmos and Jesus showed up--the end was already written. (Revelation 1)

Jesus Christ gave God's message to us, to those whom God gave to Him. We belonged to God and He gave us to Jesus before we even knew that we were chosen and destined to be a Child of the King. A son and daughter of the most high God! We became born again when we accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. At that very moment our stony, cold heart turned to a mushy soft heart and we felt the difference immediately. It is not a "head thing". It is a "heart thing".  It's like wow! But we came off of the battle field. A world of sin. All unrighteousness is sin. There is no big sin and little sin. Living separate from God, going about our business just living the dream....we were living in sin. God was with us every step of the way, through the good and the bad, through the sin, keeping us alive until we got to the place where God said, "now!", "right now!" it's either accepting My Son as your personal Lord and Savior or choose to continue to live in sin. Salvation is a gift from God. By faith through grace are you saved. It is a gift! It is preordained. You cannot come to God unless He draws you. (John 6).

Jesus has given us the message and the words that He has received from the Father. We who are born again believe the Words of Christ and believe that He came from the Father and that Jesus is in fact not only from the Father, but He and the Father are one (John 10). Jesus Christ is and was God wrapped in flesh and born in a shed. King of Kings born in a shed. The King of the world born in a shed. It blows my mind! Silver and gold have I none but in the name of Jesus, (Acts 3) take up your bed and walk! Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Be born again!

Jesus said, "I pray not for the world, but for them which God has given Me" Because we belong to God and all who were chosen and foreordained before they were formed in the womb, (Jeremiah 1; Psalm 139) before the foundation of the world was laid; belong to Jesus. You cannot come to Christ without being born again. Jesus said, "all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I AM glorified in them". (John 17)

Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

Be Born Again!

Loose Him and Let Him Go!

Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus. The brother of Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair. Mary and her sister Martha went to Jesus to tell Him that their brother Lazarus was sick. Jesus loved Lazarus. When Jesus heard that, he said, this sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God that the Son of God might be glorified. Keep up now. Jesus did not go right away. He stayed in the place where He was. Then, after about 4 days, the disciples urged Jesus to go and see about Lazarus. Jesus said, "I will go and wake Lazarus out of his sleep." The disciples said, "if Lazarus is sleep he shall be doing well." (John 11)

But Jesus was speaking of Lazarus' death and the disciples thought that he had spoken of taking a rest in sleep. Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, for the intent that you may believe. Let us go to Lazarus. When Jesus came, he found that Lazarus had already been dead in the grave four days. (John 11)

When Martha, Lazarus' sister heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met Him. Martha said to Jesus, Lord, if thou had been here, my brother would not have died. Jesus told Martha that her brother would rise from the dead. (John 11)

Pay attention now. Martha said to Jesus I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said, "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And, whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. He asked Martha, "do you believe this"? (John 11) You keeping up? ....not going to fast for you?  You sure?

Jesus asked Martha, "where have you laid him? Groaning in Himself, He came to the grave; a cave, and a stone lay upon it. Jesus said, Take away the stone. Martha said, Lord, Lazarus has been dead for four days. There is a terrible odor coming from the cave. Jesus said remember when I said to you that this is for the glory of God--if you believe? Then they took away the stone. (John 11)

Jesus lifted up His eyes toward heaven and said, Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me: but because of the people which surround me, I said it, that they may believe that You have sent me. And then, Jesus cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth! Loose him and let him go! (John 11)

Go Forth in the Name of Jesus! Amen

Rejoice in the God of your salvation! Rejoice to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

“And David enquired at the Lord, saying, shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And He answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.” (1 Samuel 30)

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6) Nay, and in all of these things we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus who loved us and gave His life for us (Romans 8). For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. (2 Corinthians 10) No weapon formed against you shall prosper. (Isaiah 54)

You shall tread on serpents and scorpions (Luke 10). You shall tread upon the lion and adder; you shall trample the dragon (Psalm 91) and cast out demons (Matthew 12) in the name of Jesus and in the power of the Holy Ghost!  Go forth filled with the Spirit of God in the name of Jesus! Amen
