Men and brethren, let me freely speak to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us to this day.
Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; David seeing this before it happened spoke of the resurrection of Christ. This Jesus has God raised from the dead. Whereof we who are born again are witnesses.
Watch this.....David is not ascended into the heavens: but he speaketh of himself, "The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Until I make thy enemies thy footstool." God has made that same Jesus, who was crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Now when those who had worked to destroy Jesus heard this, they were pricked in their heart and said, "what shall we do?" Peter said, "repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
