Nor, Will He Take it Back

Faith; is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11)  Calling things that be not as though they were....now that's spooky. You may be steeped in spiritual warfare with the anti-christ who is acting in worldly faith, yet nevertheless faith--working to give the impression that you are associated or affiliated with them in some way; e.g. or make you be their friend. The operative word here is "make you". Funny unh?  So the antichrist is acting in faith as well as the child of God. Hence the battle rages. However, the battle is not your battle. It is the Lord's battle, that He put you in for His purpose. God has orchestrated every battle, in the life of the believer; to purify us, to sanctify us, to separate us for the purpose of making us live a life that is pleasing to Him. Let me back up. The devil, the anti-christ, these humans that are working deception are not trying to "make you be their friend".  Quite the contrary. Their goal is to denigrate, subjugate, dominate and control. Their weapons of war are overt and covert harrassment. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. (2 Corinthians 10)  But I digress.

By faith Isaac, by faith Abraham, by faith Noah. But speak thy word only and my servant shall be healed. Jesus said, "go home thy servent is healed" (Matthew 8).  And when they could not come near to Jesus because of the crowds they uncovered the roof where Jesus was. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the sick man, "son, thy sins be forgiven thee." "I have never seen such faith" (Matthews 8, Acts 14, James 5).

While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.  But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. And when He came into the house, all wept, and wailed. Jesus said, "weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth." They laughed at Jesus knowing that she was dead. Jesus put them all out, took her by the hand, and called, "saying, Maid, arise." And her spirit came again, and she arose. (Luke 8).

Your faith is more precious than silver or gold. (Proverbs 3) Without faith it is impossible to please God. For they that come to Him must first believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11)

By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world--while the neighbors and others stood around watching and thinking look at that nut, what does he think he is doing; who does he think he is--and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and went out, not knowing where he was going. (Hebrews 11)

God's word will accomplish that which He set it forth to do. His word will not return to Him void. (Isaiah 55)  Take God at His Word. He is not a man that He would lie. Nor will He take it back (Numbers 23)
