Many Are Called

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers. For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. (3 John 1) But godliness with contentment is great gain. (1 Timothy 6)

Exercise thyself rather unto godliness. For bodily exercise profits little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. For therefore we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, specially of those that believe. (1 Timothy 4)

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; (Hebrews 12). Press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2)--ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth (2 Timothy 3); for many are called, but few are chosen. (Matthew 22)

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
