Many are the afflictions of the righteous and the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones: not one of them is broken. The Lord redeems the soul of his servants, and none of them that trust in Him shall be desolate. (Psalms 34:19)
Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. Trust in the Lord, and do good.; Delight thyself in the Lord and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. (Psalms 37). David said to the giant "you come to me with a sword, a spear, and a shield: but I come to you in the name of the Lord". (1 Samuel 17)
Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Keep on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Stand, having your loins girt about with truth, having on the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith to quench the fiery darts of the wicked, your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6) For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing the soul and spirit, joints and marrow; a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4)
Be vigilant because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5)--"the devil desires you that he may sift you as wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith fail not" (Luke 22) and "all who the Father has given Me, I have lost none". (John 6) Let us therefore run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is sitting at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12)
My brothers and my sisters, the battle is not yours but God's. (Exodus 15; 2 Chronicles 20; 1 Samuel 17). "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord". (Zechariah 4) Spiritual warfare. For the Lord shall judge His people. He shall say, "where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted? Let them rise up and help you, and be your protection. See now, I am He, and there is no god with Me. I will render vengeance to Mine enemies and will reward them that hate Me." (Deuteronomy 32)
Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. The second is thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."(Mathew 22)

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
