Counterfeits

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars. And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

And she brought forth a man child--Jesus Christ--who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. Rule all nations with a rod of iron? (Revelation 12) Meek and mild Jesus? whose weapons are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds? (2 Corinthians 10) Whose Word is more powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart cutting through to the bone and marrow? (Hebrews 4) --who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron? That Jesus? Our Jesus who died that we might be saved? That those who believed on His name would be saved and filled with the Holy Ghost putting all power under their feet? (Acts 8; John 1) That Jesus? The Jesus who is in you who is greater than he who is in the world? (1 John 4) That Jesus?

And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. Those God foreknew, He also did predestinate. (Romans 8) In the world we shall have tribulation (John 16) but no weapon formed against us shall prosper. (Isaiah 54).

Rejoice, you who have gone to heaven before us and those whom heaven is their home. But woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time--and you're mad, angry, jealous and full of larceny and hate because the Spirit of God is alive in those who have been Chosen, Called and Elected to live for Christ.

And when the dragon was kicked out of heaven and saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child--he went after God's Chosen people by stealth--by any means necessary--heck! let's just pretend that we are one of them.

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. (Revelation 12) That she would wait upon the LORD; renew her strength; mount up with wings as eagles; run, and not be weary; and walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)

The serpent, Satan, the devil was mad and thought Oh, no, God is not going to protect this woman. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. (Revelation 12)

And God, not man; God, the creator of the universe--God who created all things (John 1:3)--as the Earth helped the woman, and the Earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. (Revelation 12)

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof -- of such turn away (2 Timothy 3)

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (Revelation 12)

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Revelation 12)

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. (Revelation 12)

And the born again believer overcomes the Devil, Satan, and the Accuser, by the blood of the Lamb, and powerful testimonies of how Jesus saved them and are willing to die for Christ. Their life is secondary to the gospel of Jesus Christ--they love not their lives unto the death. (Revelation 12)

Michael and his angels whipped up the Devil, the Dragon, Satan and his angels and ran them out of heaven. And the born again believer whose life is bought with the Blood of the Lamb defeats the Enemy, the Accuser, the Dragon, Satan--daily casting down every evil imagination and taking every thought captive to the Word of God, (2 Corinthians) for it is no longer us but the Christ who lives in us. (Galatians 2) We are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ. (Romans 8)

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
