As Some Count as Slackness

Knowing that there are many who think God, Jesus and His Word is a joke and not true--mockers, copycats, mimickers, scoffers, walking after their own lusts, willingly ignorant that by the Word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water; talking about the flood that God had forewarned--told Noah to build an ark--the unbelievers, those who mocked God, God's Word and Believers of the Word whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished. Are you keeping up?

But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word that formed the earth and warned Noah and brought the floods are reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that you anticipate such things, are forewarned and prepared--be diligent that you may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

And count that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation to them who believe as beloved brother Paul wrote in his famed Epistles. Speaking of these things; in which are some things hard to understand to them which are ignorant of the Word; ever learning and never coming to the knowledge of the truth to their own destruction.

Believers, those who are born again, seeing you know these things in advance, beware lest you also, being led away, coerced, intimidated, weak, walking in the flesh, electromagnetically tortured and harassed for the purpose of being mind controlled--with the error of the wicked; fall from your own steadfastness.

Rather choose to grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

2 Peter 3

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
