And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk. (Matthew 22) Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no? But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them render unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's. And they could not take hold of his words: they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace. (Luke 20) And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve. (Joshua 24)
