Thy Will Be Done

King Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites; of the nations concerning which the Lord said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods. Solomon clave unto these in love. He had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned his heart away after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as was the heart of David his father.

Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord. He built an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon. The Lord was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the Lord God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice, commanding him that he should not go after other gods.

The Lord said unto Solomon, forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant (Jeroboam). I won't take the kingdom from you because of my servant David, for your father's sake, but I will take it from out of the hand of thy son (Rehoboam).

The congregation of Israel came, and spake unto Rehoboam, saying, thy father made our yoke grievous: now therefore make thou the grievous service of thy father, and his heavy yoke which he put upon us, lighter, and we will serve thee.

King Rehoboam consulted with the old men, that stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, and said, how do ye advise that I may answer this people? They said, if thou wilt be a servant unto this people this day, and wilt serve them, and answer them, and speak good words to them, then they will be thy servants for ever. Solomon forsook the counsel of the old men, and consulted with the young men that were grown up with him. The young men that were grown up with him said say to the people, my little finger shall be thicker than my father's loins.

Jeroboam was in the crowd when King Solomon answered the people roughly, and forsook the old men's counsel that they gave him and instead used the counsel given to them by the young men saying, my father made your yoke heavy, and I will add to your yoke: my father also chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.

I have made thee a god to Pharaoh. Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land. And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt. But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them (Exodus 7). Just as the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, wherefore King Solomon hearkened not unto the people; for this cause was from the Lord, that His will, purpose, and plan would be done, which He had communicated to Ahijah, the prophet when he gave Jeroboam the message from God, that he would be king.

Jeroboam was a mighty man of valour: and Solomon seeing the young man that he was industrious, made him ruler over all the charge of the house of Joseph. And it came to pass at that time when Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, that the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite found him in the way; and he had clad himself with a new garment; and they two were alone in the field and Ahijah caught the new garment that was on him, and rent it in twelve pieces. He said to Jeroboam, take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel (1 Kings 11). Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee. I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand: but I will make him prince all the days of his life for David my servant's sake, whom I chose, because he kept my commandments and my statutes. (1 Kings 11). Therefore, Solomon sought to kill Jeroboam. Jeroboam arose, and fled into Egypt, unto Shishak king of Egypt, and was in Egypt until the death of Solomon.

Everything works together according to God's plan, goodwill, pleasure, and purpose. Choose whom this day you will serve (Joshua 24)? God or man? The Spirit of God, or the spirit of the devil. How do you know one from the other since Satan mimics God? Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods. And He, God, hardened Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the Lord had instructed. And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened, he refuses to let the people go (Exodus 7).The Bible tells us that God's people perish for lack of knowledge of His Word.

If evil is in your heart, that is what you see. If goodness is in your heart that is what you see. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say (Luke 6)? Satan is so deceitful that he blinds the eyes to only what he wants you to see (21st century electromagnetic torture, harassment, and mind-control--before electro-magnetic harassment, at least human beings thought that they were doing "wrong" on their own or doing "so-called good" on their own--this technology is so slick that it wants to put thoughts in your head that you did not think and are not interested in thinking, and then learn your thought patterns and attempt to put your thought in your head that you did not think--just to get you thinking and take you off on a tangent somewhere to what the operators of this corrupt equipment want you to think. "where you think you going"? "let me do that for you").

And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie; that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2)
