God Does Not Change

God is the same God today, yesterday and forever (Hebrews 13:). Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was, I am. (John 8)

Some teach from the pulpit, that when the new testament came, the Old Testament became a history lesson, a story, nothing more. The same, miracles, punishments, blessings, God performed in the Old Testament is the same God in the new testament, working through a man named Jesus--and now the Holy Spirit--performing the same, miracles, punishments, blessings today; as He did in the old testament.

Don't let anyone in the pulpit; anyone--anywhere, anytime, or anybody, rob you of what God has for you. God is a deliverer. He is the great I Am. The only difference in the new testament and the old testament is the veil and the law. And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink. Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. (Matthew 27). Christ came back from the dead after He was crucified, and He is coming again (1 Thessalonians 4).

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4).

Do not allow any spirit to deny you of the move of God in your life. Do not allow a spirit of condemnation--a condemning spirit that is still operating under the law, because they know not Christ, judge you or hold you to their standards. Those who strain at a nat and swallow a camel. Those who are clean on the outside and dirty on the inside.

In the beginning was the Word. The Word was God and the Word was with God. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1). His name is Jesus, the Christ.

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
