Your Assignment

The devil's goal and strategy is to remove the Word of God, the witnessing of God's Word and message of eternal life from off of the earth. God is not going to allow that to happen. Those the Lord have called will come and He is going to use any means necessary to make that happen. Hence, God's strategy of allowing evil and the devil to usher in good. Usher in good? God is allowing evil and the tactics of the devil to orchestrate or to facilitate God's presence or absence thereof in the world, for the eventual presence of Christ's return.  

Makes you wonder who had the plan to use evil tactics to bring about good first (how God hardened Pharaoh's heart to cause harm and hardship to others, while God was preparing to bring His people out of bondage)--or is it just the natural extension of how an individual re-aligns their life, comes away from the world, or decides that I no longer want to live this kind of life anymore. The only thing about this approach is that the self-righteous, those who deceive themselves into thinking that they are "good" people, miss the mark. These are the people who think that because they don't do this or that, that they are "okay".  "I am not a bad person". While they lie, cheat, steal, harbor jealousy and hate in their hearts and work secretly and deceptively to destroy the lives of others. Then you change your lifestyle, your relationship to a living God is restored and you are like a baby doe and thrust into an environment that you thought would be "okay" and you come under attack by the very people who think that they are "good" people, and you thought that they were "good" people too.  Well, that is why the Lord brought you out of darkness into the marvelous light. That is why God allowed you to live any kind of way your heart desired so that He could begin to work on you and show you that you were either going to be destroyed or you would choose life.  Now the Lord had to do some work on you to get you cleaned up.  

You walk into your "good" environment and the "self righteous", the deceptive are there with all the secret weapons of destruction pointed at you.....jealousy, hate, backbiters, liars, gossipers, pilferers--I'll just take a little bit, no one will know; glutenous, animus, greedy, lustful, whatever.  You're like what? I thought these were "good" people. I thought this was the "good" environment. You are right where the Lord intends for you to be. God is making you and preparing you to go forth with His Word. The Lord already had and has His plan in place for the day when the world would try to totally prevent the presence, Word, knowledge and message of eternal life from going forth in the earth. Don't leave, don't run, don't move, don't quit. God is moving by His Spirit in the place where He has orchestrated you to be. You're on assignment for the Lord.
