The stone that the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone (Matthew 21:42). God's Word is sharper and more powerful than any two-edged sword, cutting to the asunder of man (Hebrews 4:12), and the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly when I shall make thy enemies thy footstool. (Acts 2:35)
God said to Jesus, sit thou on my right hand, until I make thy foes thy footstool. Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. (Matthew 22:44, Psalm 110:1)
This same Jesus that Peter and the apostles walked, talked, slept and ate with was crucified, died, buried and raised from the dead, came back as the Holy Spirit, lit up like tongues of fire sitting on everyone's head, and then people started speaking in their individual foreign tongues...What? Who?.. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2).
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son Jesus, whom He appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds--In the beginning was the Word, and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us--that same Jesus; who being the brightness of God's glory, and the express image of God as man, upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: being made so much better than the angels, Jesus, by inheritance of God the Father, obtained a more excellent name than the angels. (Hebrews 1)
For unto which of the angels said God at any time, thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? But to which of the angels said He at any time, sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? (Hebrews 1:13) Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
We who have accepted Christ as our Lord and personal savior have become heirs of salvation. We have been bought with a price. The price was the blood of Jesus. The believer has taken on the suffering, death, burial, and resurrection of Christ whereby we cry abba Father. (Romans 8:15)
Let the awesomeness of God the Father, His Son Jesus, and the Holy Ghost, dwell in you richly. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
