Every tactic that the evil one has designed against you or uses on you is to destroy your faith in God, to destroy your testimony, to make you respond or live in a manner that is not pleasing to God; to sever the believer's relationship and knowledge of God's existence. The fool has said in his heart that there is no God (Psalm 14:1). How can an entity that has no faith in God destroy your faith in the God of the universe? Satan has no power but what the Lord gives him, it, or her. Satan is a defeated foe who attacks viciously and mercilessly to destroy the faith of the believer--to destroy the believer's faith in God, to prevent the Word of God from going forth, to block the believer's testimony and purpose to win souls for Christ. The evil attacks are not about you, it is about what is inside of you. The attacks are about what you possess as a believer in the resurrected Christ. The devil is mad and wants to destroy God's purpose for your life--to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Resist the devil and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Be steadfast. Quit yourself like men be strong (1 Corinthians 16:13). Trust in the Lord and in the power of His might. Lean not to your own understanding but in every way acknowledge God and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:6).
God uses each and every one of Satan's attacks or tactics to build the believers faith and trust in Him.
God is not a man that He would lie (Numbers 23:19). Trust God. When an attack comes, know that it is to test your faith in God. When an attack comes know that it is not about you, but about your faith in God. Don't stop trusting God. Lean on Him. Stand on God's Word. God is in control of every situation in your life. God did not save you just for you. Do you think that God is just going to stand by and allow the devil to beat up on you? Do you think that God saved you just so you can go around saying that you are blessed and highly favored? You are the last reason, that God saved you.
Take God at His Word. The Word is God, and the Word became flesh and the world comprehended it not (John 1:10-14). You are of God and He will bring His Word to fruition in your life.

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
