Once Saved

Jesus is the Word that became flesh (John 1:14). God's Word will not return unto Him void. God's Word will accomplish what it set out to do.  God is not a man that He would lie. Jesus said, "all whom the Father have given Him, He has lost none, and no man can snatch us out of His hand." (John 18:9)

Once you are saved you are always saved. You may be living out of the will of God, you may be living like the world exercising the works of the flesh but you are saved--living out of the will of God.  You may have reached so low that you are doing things that you will be ashamed of and sorry for when you repent and turn back to God.  God will forgive you. Or, you may be living in a self-righteous way, "I am better than them" kind of attitude but not living for God. The Lord already knew everything that you would do and everything that has taken place in your life up to the moment in time.

After you accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior and slowly turned back to the world you accepted life on your terms--not God's terms. Born again believers do not turn back into the world "simply because".  You turned back into the world, because the "good" people were not "good" to you and many were offended by your testimony.  Many of the "good" people began to shun you, or work to destroy you both in your face and behind your back.

Let's get one thing straight, cattle on a thousand hills belong to God. The Lord's desire for you is that you will prosper in life as well as in the spirit. When you became born again God put His spirit in you to accomplish things you would never believe that you could accomplish. Satan was mad, jealous, hateful, vengeful. The "good" people thought that you were changing dance partners and that you were now going to "party" with them. The bible told you to come from among them and be separated--but you thought that they were "good" people--let's party.

God said that He would separate the wheat from the tare when He comes. You became confused; the "good" people were not living like you were living when you were in the world, nevertheless, all unrighteousness is sin, and satan has its' own definition for "good" and "bad" and "right" and "wrong". It was a subtle separation from God, back into the world. Satan was eyeing you the whole time; and so was God. God is thinking--my child is accumulating all of this stuff and has forgotten that we were in covenant. Things have become my child's idol, and the devil is majoring in subtlety and deception, while my child does not pray or read the bible. No one wanted to talk about God, no one wanted to pray, only if they were in the church building. It's like what?  I can only be about God in church? We're not talking about talking about God at work, although some places allowed organized bible studies during lunch, but still you had to join designated groups to engage in conversation about the Lord and salvation. Which you should not be having one-on-one conversations in Christ in your workplace (depending on your workplace) because it is common workplace policy to avoid behavior and conversation that may be viewed as offensive to others, such as religion and politics. The bible tells us that all things must be done decent and in order.

Think about what God allowed to happen in the earth throughout history, whenever this phenomenon occurred on an individual and corporate level.  God is slow to anger. God is patient.  God is in control.  All things happen according to God's timing. And, all things work together for good to them who love God, the called, according to God's purpose (Romans 8:28). Many are called but few are chosen (Matthew 22:14). Watch and pray. Satan is walking about to and fro in the earth seeking whom he may devour.  Be ye therefore, wise as serpents and harmless as doves. (Matthew 10:16).

When you say that you have been saved many times, you are insulting Christ Jesus. You are disparaging God's Word. You are saying that God's Word is a lie.  Either you have never been saved, or God has forgiven you repeatedly.

Return to the God of your salvation.  Ask the Lord to forgive you for how you have been living.  Repent, confess your sins.  God will forgive you.  Ask the Lord to use you for His purpose.  Ask the Lord to magnify Himself in you, that He may get the glory out of your life.  Greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world.  It is not about you, it is about the work that Jesus accomplished when He hung on the cross.

Lord God, thank you for the honor and privilege to share the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am unworthy. Thank you for saving me and forgiving me many, many, times. I praise You Lord! I magnify Your name! Glory to You Lord Jesus!

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
