A Remnant

It will happen that in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’ Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the Israelites is like the sand of the sea, only the remnant will be saved. For the Lord will carry out His sentence on the earth thoroughly and decisively.” (Romans 9:27)

But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. (Genesis 50) When God arose to judgment; to save all the humble of the earth. For the wrath of man shall praise You. With a remnant of wrath, You will gird Yourself. Make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them. Let all who are around Him bring gifts to Him who is to be feared. (Psalm 76) Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song to the Lord, and said,

“I will sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted. The horse and its rider He have hurled into the sea. Pharaoh’s chariots and his army He has cast into the sea, and the choicest of his officers are drowned in the Red Sea. The deeps cover them. They went down into the depths like a stone. Your right hand, O Lord, is majestic in power. Your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy.  And in the greatness of Your excellence You overthrow those who rise up against You. You send forth Your burning anger, and it consumes them as chaff.”  The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil. My desire shall be gratified against them. I will draw out my sword, my hand will destroy them.’  You blew with Your wind, the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.”

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
