Think

Think about the many times that the Lord brought you through situations that you thought were going to totally devastate you, that took your reason for living from you, that took away your desire to live another day. No one, any person, or thing, could help you. But God. God was with you the whole time giving you the will to make it through another day, while working on your behalf and you did not know it. Your heart was broken. You were not living a life pleasing to God. You were not living in a manner conducive to the principles of God's Word. Oh for sure, you were having fun, working hard, going to school, giving to charities, loving and being loved. But you were out of the will of God's divine purpose for your life. The impact of the devastation dissipated with the passing of time. Thinking back--the mighty, omnipotent, omnipresent God somehow, always made sure that you knew He had moved and operated on your behalf.

Years have past. Fast forward to the present. Spiritual attacks have become intense and severe. But the Lord has prepared you for the present. The Lord has methodically and systematically, ushered you into His presence and His purpose for your life. Think, watch and pray (Matthew 26:41). Satan has not accomplished his, her, or it's ultimate goal for your life and that is to destroy you, push you to the gutter and leave you there, and turn you into a zombie for the devil's purpose. You can take this metaphorically or you can take it literally or spiritually. It is your choice. You can be living in the gutter in any social-economic class, going to work everyday, or not, doing nothing with your life, or pursuing goals. If you have given in to what seems like the never-ending attack of the enemy on your life, you have succumbed to evil intentions and joined the dark side. Think. Is that what you want to do, or do you want to yield to the Spirit of God and cry "use me Lord". "Use me for Your purpose". "Use me to win souls for Christ."

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
