Calling It Out

Is it just me or do you have a demon on the street where you live assigned to you? Whistling, revving up the engine, slamming doors. What? Is my slip showing? Is that a new language or is that some type of code? It is unequivocally and without a doubt harassment.

I know without any doubt that the Lord did not put me on the street, next door to people who are engaged in a coordinated, sophisticated, concerted effort to destroy people's lives, and who have tried repeatedly to destroy my property after engaging in repeated attempts to appear as though my house was their property--for me to succumb. I know, that it is for God's purpose that I am where I am. I know that God has orchestrated my existence up to this point in time, and I know that God, knew I was going to be where I am before the foundation of the world was laid. I know that this is spiritual warfare designed to personify God, and chosen by God, especially for me.

Praise the Lord! Ministry was born six months later and that has been more than several years ago. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal (2 Corinthians 10:4) but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. On several occasions, the people next door used hydraulic equipment in their house that made my house visibly vibrate. I believe my house is still standing by the grace of God. I used to pick up so much glass in my yard it was almost bowls full...and I had dogs. I'm not moving and I'm not complaining. They even had people following me wherever I went.

I'm not running from the devil. God's Word is true. The only place I'm running to is to my knees. God has got this! One of the tactics of the devil is to provoke you. Because these demons are not able to dominate or intimidate me they try to provoke me. Any action or activity that is blatantly wrong, offensive or harassing is designed to provoke. If you allow the enemy to provoke you, you have gotten in God's way. You have become fodder for the enemy and that's not how God's playbook is written nor intended for the life of the believer.

It's not comfortable referring to "people did this" or "people are doing that" for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against evil and spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). If these people next door to me and across the street from me are doing these things of their own volition that is both a horrible and sad thing. I would not trade places with these people for anything.. and they have nice homes too, but what is that if you see people as something to denigrate, subjugate and control? What good is it to have any material possessions if you work to destroy others?

The devil has its place in God's plan and that is to make subtle and overt attempts to destroy the believer's trust in God and in God's Word. The Lord knows how much salting the believer needs. Trust the Lord. Move out of the way so God can zero in on the real target. Hallelujah! Glory to God!

You are awesome Jesus. You rock!

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
