Seasoned With Salt

You have to consciously resist and mentally put forth effort to fight the spirit of evil intentions every day, all day.  Yes--if left unchecked, evil intentions can become a spirit of distraction. You may find yourself pleading the blood of Jesus literally all day, and this is after you've said a blood washed prayer putting your foot on the devil's head with the authority that Christ has given you--to make your enemy your footstool, to tread on serpents and to cast out demons.  That's all very good and well if you believe that Jesus has given you that authority, but why do you have to do it all day at times? Because you are engaged in serious spiritual warfare. The devil is out to steal, kill, and destroy your hopes and dreams and your life.

Do not allow negative intentions or negative thinking of and from others stop you from paying attention to your destiny. You are fighting a war in an unseen realm whose first point of attack is your mind. The spirit of evil intentions and negative thoughts--which very well could be your own thoughts--never takes a break from trying to turn you away from God who is the source of your joy and your strength.

Thoughts may come into your head bypassing your mind (you didn't think it, it just popped into your head) that are clearly of no desire or concern to you and you wonder, where's this coming from?

Resist. Stay steadfast in the faith wherein Christ has set you free.  Don't be nonchalant. You almost have to be maniacal in your zeal to lift up the name of Jesus. Don't be afraid to lose your mind for Christ. Just do it! Go Holy Ghost crazy! Remember that all things must be done decently and in order. We are mindful to obey the law of the land and to obey those that the Lord have placed over us--this applies to both churches and secular organizations. Most, if not all, workplaces would not tolerate this manner of conversation or display of emotionalism.  But if you're working in your front yard or taking a brisk walk, it's hallelujah Jesus! If you're in the grocery store, and someone wants to engage in friendly, extemporaneous chatter--praise the Lord in conversation.

Don't allow negative or evil intentions to cause you to walk around scratching your head as if you have lost your mind. You are not crazy. There is a real spirit of darkness that wants to destroy your life. You cannot fight negative intentions on your own. You need Jesus to fight for you. Draw nigh unto God and He will draw nigh to you.

You think that once you give your life to Christ that things would get easier, but what you get is a whole new life and reasons to want to live, reasons to survive another day, reasons to become a productive human being and lots of people with "good intentions" trying to distract you, to hold you back, to keep you down--to keep you from achieving goals and purpose.

Greater is He who is in you than He who is in the world. If you are feeling as though there is a negative strangle hold on your life you need to cry out to Jesus. He will hear you and set you free!

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. (2 Corinthians 10)

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
