I shared with a professional who had no knowledge of what I was really referring to when I said that God was preparing me for transition. The professional was aware, somewhat, and vaguely, of the evil that worked to engulf my soul. The Lord then allowed me the opportunity to share with a young girl that I saw standing on the street, that the Lord was preparing me for transition. I smiled at her and she smiled at me. Perhaps in her spirit she knew exactly what I was referring to.
Transition. God gets us ready to make the transition from earth to glory. He establishes us and re-establishes us. He carves His Word in our heart and in our minds and puts His Word on our tongues. He girds up our loins with truth (Ephesians 6:14), sheds our feet with the preparation of the gospel, puts the helmet of salvation on us, gives us the shield of faith and the sword which is the Word of God. He establishes His purpose in us for which He granted us salvation. The very reason that He knew us before we were in our mother's womb.
We don't know the date nor the time of the transition, we can only be attentive to the signs of the times. Jesus said that there will be perils, pestilence, and false prophets coming in His Name and doing mighty works such that if it were possible the very elect would be fooled. Jesus said that no one knows the day or the hour that He shall appear.
Two things for sure are certain. Those who die in Christ--the born again--will transition. When Jesus returns, those who are buried will rise first and those who remain will be caught up to be with the Lord--some will be taken and some will be left standing wondering "where did she go?", "where did he go?". (1 Thessalonians 4:17) Watch and pray. Do not let the Lord return and your vessel or lamp is empty, without oil. (Matthew 25)
In the meantime, do not sit around doing nothing with your life. Pursue purpose with passion. Be on fire for the Lord to win souls for Christ. Feed the hungry, do good to all men. Silver and gold have I none but such as I have give I thee. In the name of Jesus take up your bed and walk! Get up! Be productive! Don't waste your God-given talents on doing nothing but existing. Break free from bondages that hold you down and hold you back.
You are a giver and not a taker. Jesus came and died and rose from the dead that you may have life and life more abundantly--love, joy, peace, passion, hope, faith, charity. You can have things too. To whom much is given, much is required. We are instructed to work by the sweat of our brow and not to be a slacker. Money is not evil. The love of money is the root of all evil. But I digress, because this blog is not about obtaining and growing material wealth. If you have purpose, you will be successful. If you do not have purpose, you will not have success. PERIOD. END OF STORY. Your primary desire should be to do the will of God for your life.
Don't be a casualty of spiritual warfare. If someone does not like you, Jesus said that they hated Him first. Don't give in to denigrating and subjugating tactics of the devil. Come from among them and be separated. (2 Corinthians 6:17). Eyes have not seen nor ears heard the things that God has prepared for them who love Him.(1 Corinthians 2:9) The half has not been told. (1 Kings 10:7)

Exercise your authority to tread on serpents and to cast out demons. You are the head and not the tail. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Exercise your holy boldness.
