Chosen

You know that God has got His hand on your life--chosen--when you are ensconced in negativity--an environment where lying and deception is colloquially speaking "the rule of the game". The Lord has chosen you, unequivocally, to suffer for Christ's sake--for the sake of the Gospel.  You were not knowledgeable of the dark sinister forces at work, perched, waiting for the select opportunity to destroy your life and anyone that you would consider a friend...although this is a misnomer; since I have learned in the past 15 years that there is no such term as "friend" when you are chosen by God to suffer. Satan appears as an angel of light, that is his, she, or it's tactic; I'm your friend; I'm looking out for you. Unless they are blood washed, born again, speaking in tongue and operating in the Spirit of God--and you will need a discerning spirit to know this.  Pray and ask God to give you a spirit of discernment.

The truth, being open, and honest are not acceptable traits or characteristics in an environment where most are looking for the opportunity to deceive. Born again believers are treated as though they are dumb or stupid because they do not possess a spirit of hate, and do not encourage negative behavior. Being forthright or unpretentious makes you an open target to some and a prize to others--those who relish and cherish the truth as a rare jewel will gravitate towards you. You have to watch and pray, because your adversary, the devil, is walking about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, while inquiring about your well-being at the same time. If you represent love, the truth, and forth righteousness; the enemy wants to recruit you to do their dirty work. In other words to become deceptive to use your gifts as a tool to deceive others--some call it elicitation--the skill or natural ability to engage with others so that they feel comfortable and share every thought in their head, about themselves, their family, friends, and anyone else they can think of.

The role of the believer is to share the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Share the message of Jesus' love for humanity and that's it. Don't allow the spirit of darkness to draw you into superfluous conversation while they're knitting a web of deceit. Be steadfast, immovable always abounding in the work of the Lord.
